    In 1969, Rick was bitten by the music bug by listening to Dan Ingram on WABC in New York at the age of 9. By 1972, he was starting to amass his record collection. (First Record was “Popcorn” by Hot Butter!) In his early teen years, his Rick and friends ran a Part 15 Radio Station in their neighborhood with the girls from the block singing our jingles. That’s how it all began, this is what it is today... Welcome to Greatest Hits USA!

    Rick starts out each show by saying "Hey Everybody, Welcome to the Weekend!" but what’s inside this 3 hour show is what keeps you to the end. Greatest Hits USA takes you through the past, with the music of the 60‘s 70‘s & beyond. Plus the fun stuff like News from the Past, the Birthday Bunch & with your Requests on our Toll Free Hotline, (855-USA-HITS) you become part of the show! So turn it up every Sunday from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM (E.S.T.), Right here on Surf 97.3 FM

Local people create programming, design events, and keep the station up and running and on the air.
