    Dennis King AKA DJ the DJ and his Island Time Radio show is on Sundays from 12 noon until 2 PM here on Surf 97.3 FM.

    Island Time radio is all about the music and laid back lifestyle of parrotheads and or trop rock fans. Jimmy Buffett started it ...all in the 70s, but this music has grown by leaps and bounds since. We showcase trop rock every week on the show.

    In the mix, you'll also hear reggae, surf, classic rock, beach music, and local Put in Bay artists. Put in Bay, or "South Bass island" (as it is also called) on Lake Erie is our own Key West of the north! We feature artist interviews, special features, and giveaways on the show every week.

    The show is hosted by Dennis King, aka "DK the DJ" @ WBWC , campus radio station at Baldwin Wallace college in Berea, Ohio. "Sidekick" "Amo" Bennett sits in just about every week too.

    For two years running, our show has been nominated for "Trop rock radio show of the year" at the Margarita Mafia Trop rock awards at Meeting of the Minds event in Key West, Florida. The annual parrothead convention.
