    Surf 97.3 FM recently sponsored a Flagler County softball team. Our team took the field for their first game on Wednesday Sept 9 and rode to a comfortable 14-4 win!!! Our very own resident DJ Tim Baker from the station plays on the team and we are happy to sponsor the competetive Surf 97.3 FM players. Our next game is Wed 9-16 at the fair grounds in Bunnell at 7:00 pm - come out and cheer us on!! Surf's Up!!

    Tune Town with Jiffy Jeff. Jeff collected obscure and records that just did not get the air play they deserved, since he was a wee little tike. He wanted to share all these great finds with other music fans that would appreciate them as he did. Rarely any radio stations to this day play these and other big name artists such as Brenda Lee, Elvis, Del Shannon, Patsy Cline and many many big names from Regional area's that did not get national air play. Whether it was no pay ola no play ola, or just did not get promoted to get played.

    Michelle Brown is a Tourism Insider for Flagler County and the official Tourism Ambassador of Surf 97.3 fm radio. She’s a board member of the Flagler Beach Area Council, sits on the Economic Development Task Force for the city of Flagler Beach and chairs the Diplomats at the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce… oh, and did we mention that she owns and runs Flagler Beach Gift Shop in her spare time!
