Having just gone through Hurricane Dorian here in 2019 with two previous major hurricanes in 2016 & 2017 in our beautiful town of Flagler Beach, we here at Surf 97.3 FM want to thank everyone involved who have really stepped up to the plate for our beachside town. Our city manager Larry Newsom, Mayor Linda Provencher, our city commissioners, police chief Matt Doughney and his officers, Fire Captain Bobby Pace and crew, 7-Eleven Flagler Beach, Emergency Service operations, National Guard, Salvation Army, the Flagler Beach All-Stars for organizing citizen cleanup efforts and other police and volunteers from other civic and private organizations. We also want to thank the citizens of our Flagler County area for really coming together as one and working side by side throughout these crisis's. Our station Surf 97.3 FM have survived as well, even though we previously have had some damage to our FM antenna and damage to the Flagler Beach pier in which we broadcast from. Regardless, because of the efforts of everyone, our town remains connected as one like no other and will be better and stronger than ever in the future. Kudos to everyone out there helping each other. For together we are Flagler strong! #flaglerstrong
