    Having just gone through Hurricane Dorian here in 2019 with two previous major hurricanes in 2016 & 2017 in our beautiful town of Flagler Beach, we here at Surf 97.3 FM want to thank everyone involved who have really stepped up to the plate for our beachside town.

    The oldies Time Machine is Familiar oldies from the fifties, sixties and seventies, plus rare tracks and "B" sides that you won't hear on any other radio program. It's these rare tracks and lively upbeat information that make the show different!The Oldies Time Machine is loaded with information on the music that shaped the Baby Boomer generation, and an occasional personal memory that a 50 plus audience can relate to. You will also hear, old radio ads, jingles and early fifties artists that shaped 'Rock n' Roll.

    Surf 97.3 FM wishes everyone a very Happy New Year. Our wish to you is for 2016 to be full of fun, good health and happiness. We hope that 2015 was a great year for all of you and here's to looking ahead to all the good things to come in 2016!

    It's been another wonderful year for SURF 97.3 FM, but we couldn't have done it without you, our loyal listeners and gracious sponsors. As we enter into a new year once again, keeping an eye toward all things summertime, our staff would like to extend warm wishes to you and yours.

    Dave seems to have been born with radio in his blood. Tinkering with electronics, at the age of 12, he started his own low wattage AM station in an abandon building near his home. At the age of 15 he was given his first official radio job at a local Kentucky AM station. His radio career continued to develop and expand to other stations as he moved into Broadcast Engineering and obtained his Federal Communication Commission First-Class License. Several years later, he switched careers and moved into Industrial Automation and Instrumentation where he found a home for 26 years.

    SURF 97.3 Fm is a true community radio station, locally operated by volunteers from the Flagler Beach community. Local people create programming, design events, and keep the station up and running and on the air. All this programming is made possible thanks to the hard work of many dedicated volunteers and generous donations from people like you.
